MARCUS LEMONIS FROM CNBC'S THE PROFIT ANNOUNCES JACKSON BUSINESS FOR SEASON 7
Local Jackson business to be featured on Season 7 of “The Profit” (By: Carl Daniels) JACKSON TN- Reality TV star Marcus Lemonis from CNBC’s series “The Profit” announced Sunday that Long John Silvers on Stonebrook Place will be the featured business for Season 7 episode 15. In an exclusive interview with The Jackson Critic, Lemonis stated, “It really was faith that led me here.” Lemonis, a Lebonease-born American Muslim businessman, is an investor and turn-around king. “As owner of Camping World, I was visiting our Jackson location, and I was really craving some hushpuppies and fish.” Lemonis mentioned that market studies on the amount of hushpuppies consumed in Jackson Madison country really made this a “no-brainer”, stating “sometimes the math just works”. Lemois said the service he received was awful, and the hushpuppies just didn’t “pack the punch I was hoping for”. Lemois was most disappointed to see the “ring if you’re happy bell”, was not in service at the time of his visit. As Lemonis takes on this next challenge he will be working with store manager “Big” Boudin Boudreaux, who’s been the store manager since 2012. This will be the first Jackson business featured and filmed for the series. Lemonis stated that once he’s able to provide good quality fish, and fresh hushpuppies, his next venture will be to build a Mosque on the campus of Union University.
